Somebody asked me recently, "Why do I need a guide to the
neighborhoods?" I was so surprised that I did not have an answer for him but
the answer is of course:

such as Uptown Mount Pleasant which used to have so many streams and
creeks running through it, that it became home to several breweries and
was called Brewery Creek .

* To remind us of the diversity and uniqueness of this city we all call home.
