Deep Harmony is a more serious look at Arthur Delamont and his
Vancouver Boys band. It uses excerpts from interviews with original
members of the band to tell what it was like on the trips. To meet
Arthur Delamont for the first time. To travel across Canada by train. To

win Gold and Silver in competition. To be a part of such a successful

It addresses the issues of wayward youth. What being in the band may
have meant to so many. It remembers those who paid the supreme
sacrifice in World War II, who had been in the band; including several
original members. It explores the leaders of the organization and
managers and the ships on which the band travelled across the
Atlantic to Europe. It takes a look at the different theatres the band
played at in England and the company they kept both on stage and off!
To help establish the philosophical value of the whole, it draws on
quotes from other writers and musicians and attempts to put into
words, a more intellectual perception of what Arthur Delamont
